Life Upside Down

I’ve felt like singing lately. Easy, modal, rich harmonies that sound easy to my ear. I feel creative energies that want to result in songful, joyful outbursts. These sisters and their music mean so much to me lately.

I’ve been thinking a lot about living in the present, mainly because recently I’ve really needed to. Sometimes that takes the form of meditation, sometimes it means taking a bike ride to clear my head. And sometimes it just means enjoying a beautiful song, picking it out on guitar, and singing for no other purpose than my own pleasure.
