Sydney

I spent last week in Sydney, in training for my brand-spanking new job, which thankfully left me some time to explore the city by night.

I can now check the Opera House off my Australian-tourist bucket list! I may have enjoyed it more by night than I would’ve during the day. It’s spectacular.

Sydney was a wake-up call for me, a small one. Even in the midst of huge, fast life changes, it’s never a bad thing to take the time to step back and reassess goals, priorities and dreams.

Life is there for the taking, and can be whatever I make it, but its doors will only open  when I knock.
