Tasmania

A whirlwind of a week was spent in Tassie during April. Vistas and vino, backpacking and bed and breakfasts. I was so  happy to feel cold weather again, even if just for a few days.

I think I consumed a year’s worth of wine and seafood. This was, of course, completely justified after completing the rigorous Cape Pillar Circuit. Three days of a playful crew of four, camping (albeit rats chewing through the tents), breathtaking views and the reward of climbing so high for the satisfaction of an experience you’ve never had before. It is not a track I will forget soon.

There are always more vistas, there are always more trails. When you travel, the world just keeps getting bigger.

I was so happy, so grateful for that reminder.
