The week in review

THIS WEEK

+ The new apartment is starting to look like a home that people should live in. Pictures are forthcoming!

+ I started thinking about thinking about getting a Masters degree in music at this place.

+ My baby violin and piano teaching studio grew by 400%. This isn’t as impressive as it sounds, as I went from 1 to 4 students. Still, glass half full, right?

+ My body has started to recalibrate itself so that I can now wake up at 5AM for early, early hot yoga classes. The cruel reality of this is that I now feel tired by 8am after a sweaty hour that ends at 6:45. More on this later.

+ Some sort of ungodly maternal instinct for a puppy has started to rear its ugly head and I’m really, really wanting one. This is impractical and impossible on so many levels, but it doesn’t stop me fantasizing about Bloodhounds and Weimeraners. Here’s a very talented, crazy dog lady.  Trying to live vicariously through her.

+ I’m trying to read more. Currently making my way through The Elegance of the Hedgehog.  Future literary suggestions are welcomed.

+ Missing these ladies.

Life is really good. Happy weekend.
